Hi, I’m Debbie—indie author, world-builder, and the creative mind behind this space, The Pinkyverse Boutique, and the whimsical universe of Pinky the Pink Elephant and her friends.

The Story Behind the Site

This dream didn’t start yesterday. The seeds of this world were planted all the way back in the 1990s when Pinky was first born. Life took its usual turns, and for a long time, Pinky took a backseat.

Fast forward to late 2024: I decided it was time to stop leaving my creative passions on the shelf. I stepped into the world of self-publishing, braved the wild learning curve of digital creation tools, and officially became an indie author when I published my first children’s books in early 2025.

Publishing those stories reignited something big inside me. I realized I didn’t just want to write a single book—I wanted to build an entire universe.

This site is the central hub where I share the real, unfiltered journey of building everything from the ground up:

A Quick Note on How I Create

I believe in total transparency: as someone without a traditional background in fine art, I use modern digital programs and AI tools as my creative brush. These tools allow me to translate the exact visions living in my imagination onto the page. From drafting outlines to rendering 3D-inspired characters, technology bridges the gap between my ideas and reality.
