Finding your rhythm

I always wish someone would give me the “right” order for writing blogs. Do I stay in sequence with what I’m writing? Do I keep it as a story from one post to the next? Do I write whatever feels right in the moment?

I usually end up with more questions than answers.

But here’s the one thing I have figured out: There is no single answer. Every person is different — so every blog will be different too.

My ideas, my thoughts, my dreams… they’re uniquely mine.

We might be walking down the same road, heading in a similar direction, but our paths will still lead in different ways. You are unique, and so am I — so why wouldn’t our blogs be the same?

I can encourage you. I can offer suggestions. I can give you things to think about.

But I can’t tell you the exact direction to take — because it might not be the right one for you. You have to choose your own path, just like I do. And yes, you have to create your own answers.

I’ve read plenty of “how to start a blog” guides — and many of them offer great advice. But at the end of the day, my dream and my direction aren’t anyone else’s. We may all want a blog, but what we want from it is different.

So today’s blog is about finding your rhythm. And this is mine.

Some advice says to write several posts ahead so you have something ready when your brain goes mushy — and trust me, mine has been doing that. Have I fallen off track? Maybe. But maybe not.

I have my business online, and I want to make it a success. I also write, and I want to keep improving. My blog is a combination of everything I’m doing — but I don’t want it to become a confusing mash of topics.

So my advice today is simple: Listen to your inner voice. If you shut out the noise and just listen, it will lead you right. You’ll learn, you’ll improve, and you’ll grow.

Do you have questions? Are you looking for answers? Or maybe just encouragement?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to comment, or email me if posting publicly feels too open.

Have a wonderful and progressive day.
